Turn any gadget green

It’s a wonder no one has thought of this before! Vine, is a unique looking charge cable designed by artist Shunsuke Umiyama that will turn any gadget green. The concept is cool, but unfortunately you won’t be finding this one in any stores. Umiyama only produced this as a concept model and has no intention on bringing it to the market.

How to drink beer like a highbrow
Posted by admin on March 26th, 2009 No comments
Guzzle beer and still look sophisticated! These Sommelier Wine Glasses are a cross between a good ol’ beer cup and wine glass. Each glass is hand blown, which makes it sound even more highbrow! Unfortunately at $49 dollars a piece, chances are not too many college kids will be able to afford these.

Own a piece of Jurrasic Park
Posted by admin on March 25th, 2009 No commentsHow cool is this! Someone has posted a full size replica of the Velociraptor from Jurassic Park on eBay! This beauty is made of high quality poly urethane resin that has been painted and sealed. It measures 28 inches from the nose to base of the mount. The dinosaur is mounted to a wooden base that can be put up on a wall like a trophy animal. Imagine bringing this home to the kids! Talk about nightmares!

New Xbox 360 and DS peripherals announced
Posted by admin on March 25th, 2009 No commentsPerformance Designed Products announced at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco today two new peripherals its been working on. One for the Xbox 360, the other for the Nintendo DS.

Gametrak Freedom for the Xbox 360
The Gametrak Freedom for the Xbox 360 is very similar to Nintendo’s Wiimote yet still stays true to the 360′s look. The D pad is still there as are the 4 coloured buttons we all know so well. It does however come with ultrasonic 3D motion sensing. Basically the device talks to a base unit connected to your Xbox 360 through its USB port. This means you do not have to point the Gametrak Freedom at a sensor bar or even at the screen for commands to be recognized! Too cool!
On the DS side, Performance Designed Products unveiled SmartStylus, a stylus with vibration feedback. It’s capable of controlling the portable gaming console without touching it! Too bad this one is only in the prototype stage.
