    Keep your wine tasting fine

PlatyPreserve keeps unfinished wine from oxidizing

Any wine drinker will tell you it doesn’t take long for Vino to go bad once the bottle has been opened. The moment air enters, the wine begins to oxidize, which can dramatically change the flavour within hours. Now you can protect the taste of your unfinished wine.

PlatyPreserve is an air tight wine skin that claims to keep your wine tasting like you just opened the bottle. Just pour your leftover wine into the leak free sac, squeeze out the air and screw the cap on tight. It’s light and durable so you can take it where ever you go! And hey, it’s BPA free!

Expect to pay about $13 for the convenience of taking your preserved wine with you!

Finally, play games on your cell without the finger cramps

Mobile gaming on cell phones may be taking off, but we haven’t seen any major advances in the way we control those tiny little characters on those tiny little screen. Until now.

Enter the JS1 Zeemote controller. You could think of it as a Wii-mote for your cell phone. The ergonomically designed device sports a  thumbstick and four assignable action buttons and is supposed to give hours of play on just two AA batteries.

So far the device works with Nokia’s Series 60 phones as well as Blackberry. A complete list of compatible games is listed on the company’s website.

The JS1 Zeemote is  already available in Germany, Sweden and Spain. Still no word on release in the U.S. or Canada.

  • Teen paints giant penis on roof of parents' house

A picture is worth a thousand words

A picture is worth a thousand words

It’s 60 feet long. No really. We’re not exaggerating about the size! A teen in the U.K. has painted a picture of a rather long dong on the roof of his parents’ house. Why? Well so it could be seen by Google Earth’s cameras of course.

Now here’s the best part of the story…the parents had no idea it was there until reporters came knocking on the door to ask why there was a giant penis on the roof!

Unfortunately the penis can not be seen on Google Earth. The image seen online shows the house with a pristine rooftop, meaning the image was snapped some time ago. Chances are it will never make it online as the parents have ordered the boy to wash it off once he gets home from Brazil where he is spending a year off school.

You can’t even make this stuff up!

Sony cuts the price of its PS3 dev kit

Sony cuts the price of its PS3 dev kit

Sony is making it more enticing for developers to create games for the PlayStation 3. The company announced it is drastically cutting the price of its PlayStation dev kit.

Right now developers are shelling out $10, 250 for a kit. The new price will bring it closer to $2,000. That’s quite a fire sale! The new kit will also look a lot more like an actual PS3 than the previous kit.

Sony is also saying it will offer “enhanced technical support for developers, an optimized PS3 compiler (SNC PPU) to improve efficiency, and better documentation for PhyreEngine.”

Sure, it’s great news for developers but where is the price cut for consumers?
