100MPG Hummer?

Ya we’re having issues believing this one to. Apparently Raser Technologies has unveiled a prototype H3 that will get up to 100 miles to the gallon. *Gasp*

The prototype uses a combination of gas and battery power. The lithium ion battery packs will give enough power to let the Hummer drive about 40 Miles. After that you have to rely on good ol’ fossil fuels.

The Hummer is only in demo phase at this point, but production could begin as early as 2011. Pricing has not been released.
