149 Inch OLED TV

It’s hard to see Sony’s 11″ OLED TV and not be amazed by how thin it is and the brilliant picture quality (there are black levels like you’ve never seen before). It’s been two years since the company unveiled the XEL-1, yet we still haven’t seen many sets that are that much larger. Until now.Mitsubishi is planning on unveiling a 149″ OLED at at ISE 2010 next week–considerably larger than Sony’s XEL-1. The TV is said to be edgeless, meaning no visible border around the picture. As for resolution, we’re talking 1088 pixels x 640 pixels. The manufacturer claims the picture will be significantly brighter and more vibrant than any existing LED panel of this size.
It’s nice to see someone is making progress at larger OLED screens.
