250GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive to Appear in Japan

Microsoft is getting ready to launch a 250GB add-on hard drive for the Xbox 360. This will be the first time we’ve seen this size of drive that’s not bundled with a console. The drive will cost about Â¥15,540 or about $172.

Microsoft spokesman Kei Iwasaki says Microsoft has no current plans to put it on sale as a stand-alone unit outside of Japan.
