A Steadicam for Your iPhone

Thinking of filming a blockbuster hit with your iPhone? Well there must be a market for doing just that as Tiffen has just announced a Steadicam rig for the “Jesus Phone”.

The Smoothee Steadicam works just like its larger counterparts. The rig is able to stabilize footage by means of a counterweight at the bottom of the rig. The phone cradle can also be detached and mounted on a tripod or used as a stand on a flat surface.

The Smoothee measures about 14.5″ tall and 8″ wide. Tiffen claims that will make it small enough to conveniently to take with you on trips.

No price or release date as been announced just yet, but everyone knows Steadicams aren’t cheap. This one probably won’t be either.
