A Visit to the Penny Arcade Sausage Factory

Probably the most fun place to work, besides a video game/gadget review site, would be at Penny Arcade. The webcomic produces three strips a week that lampoons games, gaming culture, and inanities of Internet life. The crew also organizes the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), gaming festival by gamers for gamers.

So, wouldn’t it be fun to sneak a peek into the office of Penny Arcade creators Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik? Behold, the Internet has answered your prayers.

The first episode is up, available in two parts. The episode delves into making the comic, working in their office, and why they decided to start PAX. The episode also touches on Krahulik’s dysfunctional relationship with his father that only started to get better once Penny Arcade became successful.

It looks like the season will run for eight episodes and hopefully it’s a success. Perhaps we could see this on Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.
