Apple has just announced a fresh lineup of iPods for the fall, basically changing the design for each and every model currently available. There are also some nice new prices for the devices. We’ve listed the new models along with their key features. Take a look at the fall lineup below.

    New iPod Shuffle – $49

Steve Jobs admitted Shuffle users missed the buttons. Sure they liked the voice control but the lack of buttons was a deal breaker for many. So, Apple is bringing them back. The new Shuffle is available with 2GB worth of storage with a battery which is expected to last 15 hours. You’ll have 5 different colours to choose from.

    New iPod Nano – $149 – $179

This is probably the biggest design change of all the iPods hitting store this month. The new iPod Nano is 46% smaller than the last version and 42% lighter. There is now a clip on the back so the arm band is a thing of the past. And oh…it’s touchscreen! The 240 x 240 pixel screen supports multi-touch and the orientation can be flipped by making a turning motion with your fingers.

The new Nanos are cased in anodized aluminum and will come in 7 snazzy colours. The 8GB version will retail for $149 and the 16GB model will be slightly more at $179. Available in 4 weeks.

    New iPod Touch -$229 – $399

The iPod Touch is getting to be more and more like the iPhone. Not only has Apple added the A4 chip and gyroscope, it’s also improved the screen, upgrading to the new Retina display. Beyond that Apple upgraded the cameras. The rear can now record HD video and the front (yes they added a front camera) now allows for FaceTime. The battery life on the new iPod Touch is a whopping 40 hours.

The 8GB model will cost $229, the 32GB $299, and the 64GB will retail for $399. The new iPod Touch will be available next week.
