DSi Firmware Update: Facebook or Free Games

Nintendo is forcing you to make a choice. Firmware 1.4 has just been released in Europe, Japan and Australia giving them access to Facebook. Good news right? Well not if your a pirate! Apparently the update also blocks the use of DSi compatible flashcarts.

The firmware hasn’t hit North America yet, but rest assured it’s on its way. So it looks like Nintendo is forcing you to decide. Facebook, or free games…at least until another workaround is figured out.

  At first glance of sounds that Nintendo users can’t get internet in Nintendo which is really hurdle. But now onwards, we can easily enjoy social games on Dsi.
