Garmin Nuvifone Hits the U.S. October 4th

Hard to believe, two years after it was first announced, Garmin’s Nuvifone is becoming a reality. AT&T has picked up the device and will be offering it in the US starting this Sunday.

The G60 will have the same user interface as the company’s navigation units, but will add a few other features. It will have a 3 megapixel auto focusing camera that will allow you to geotag photos.  Users will also be able to email from the device and use it as a GPS unit as well.

AT&T will be offering the phone for $299 with $100 rebate and 3 year contract.
