Google Adds Live Phone Support For Nexus One

Imagine: a multi-million dollar company releasing a product that offers no phone  support. That pretty sums up Google’s launch of the Nexus One phone.  Here is a major company, announcing a highly anticipated product, but when problems pop up you have no one to call. That changes today…sort of.

Google has now launched a live phone support hotline for Nexus One customers. If users call 888-48NEXUS (63987) between the hours of 07:00am to 10:00pm PST, they will actually get a hold of a live person. The only problem is this isn’t for technical support; these operators will only address status and shipping issues.

So Nexus One customers still have to rely on online forums for help. Maybe someday Google will be large enough to afford live phone support for its products.
