Microsoft has apologized via Twitter for changing the race of one of the models in it’s ad campaign for business productivity software on its website.

Angry tweets and comments flooded the web yesterday after someone realized the company swapped out a black man, for a white one. In the ad seen above (seen in the U.S.) 3 business people are sitting around a boardroom table, one white, one asian, and one black. Turns out Microsoft swapped out the black guy for a white guy in the Polish version of the ad.

“We are looking into the details of this situation,” a Microsoft representative told CNET News. “We apologize and are in the process of pulling down the image” from the Polish site. Microsoft also apologized on its corporate Twitter feed.
