Microsoft Jumps in Bed With Yahoo

And you thought Bing was going nowhere! A major announcement by the folks in Redmond today revealed Bing will now power search for both the Microsoft and Yahoo!

The deal gives Microsoft an exclusive 10 year license to Yahoo’s core search technology, while Microsoft’s Bing will be the exclusive algorithmic search and paid search platform for Yahoo! sites. Each company will maintain their own separate display advertising businesses and sales forces.

Does anyone use Yahoo! for searching anymore?
