Renew Comes to Canada
A month after it was released in the U.S. it looks as though Motorola will be introducing it’s “Eco Friendly” Renew W233 to The Great White North. Canada will be the next country to get the so called “green” phone.
The Motorola Renew is made of recycled water bottles (at least the plastic parts). Motorola claims it contains 25% recycled content, sourced from reground large PC water bottles such as those used in office water coolers. The phone’s plastic housing is also designed to be removed and recycled at the end of the phone’s life. Oh and let’s not forget the packaging! It’s made from 100 percent recycled material. Who would have thought Motorola was so green!
Motorola is being pretty quiet about who the carrier will be (we’re guessing Rogers) only stating it will be announced on March 26th.
