    Ah, the classic Macintosh mouse. Just the sight of it brings me back to my parent’s basement in 1986… playing pirated and homemade games. Back then, the single button made no difference to me–it was what it was. Nowadays the single button takes a lot of flack in a multibutton world, but the simplicity and design brilliance of the single button can’t be denied.

    From the 1984 brick to the new magic mouse, we’ve seen 25 years of the cute Macintosh input device. It’s become a symbol of the cult of Apple and the company’s staunch adherence to design AND function.
