Nintendo Makes Wii Price Drop Official

The big N has finally confirmed what many consumers already knew.  The price of the Wii will drop as of this Sunday (September 27th). Heck we told you that days ago!

Americans will get a $50 price cut and will pay $199 for the console, while those north of the border in Canada will get $60 off, paying $219.95. Japan will have to wait a few more days. The price cut won’t go into effect there until October 1st, and they’ll be paying more! The console is dropping from 25,000 ($273 US) to 20,000 ($218 US).

Kinda hard to keep it a secret Nintendo when store flyers are printed a week before delivery!
