Nintendo to Slash Price of Wii

While it’s not an official announcement just yet, the internets are flooding with images taken from upcoming store flyers announcing a $50 price cut. Not only that, Nintendojo claims one of their staffers was on a retailer conference call with Nintendo when the company announced the price of the Wii will be slashed to $199.

So when does the magic happen? Supposedly on Sunday, September 27th! So if you are looking at getting a Wii, hold off another week. You’ll be thankful you did!

Of course Nintendo will probably make a big announcement during the upcoming Toykyo Game show which starts this week.
