PDF Any Website Your Heart Desires

A new website promises to convert any online site into a PDF for your perusing pleasure. You might be wondering: in an age where we’re basically permanently connected to the ‘Net, why would we need something like this? Well, not all eReaders can browse the web (for now) or have 3G connectivity, but you might still want to use your eReader to read certain websites or web-based articles. With PDF My URL, you can easily make those websites viewable offline and on your eReader since most devices do support PDFs. And next time you’re unconnected, like a plane or a road trip with spotty cellular connection, you can also have those pages handy for reading. To convert a website, just go to PDF My URL and type or paste your target URL. From there, you can adjust a ton of options like page size, dpi, or the inclusion of a table of contents.
The interface for the advanced options isn’t so easy to master. Clicking Advance Options doesn’t display a menu where you can adjust settings. Instead it’s a how-to with a list of every single possible option. I have a feeling if you mess up just one element, you’re back to square one.
The PDF that’s created isn’t bad and the any links are also embedded so if you want to keep on reading beyond the article, you can do that. It’s a handy little web tool I’ll be using more in the future.
