• Power Accessory: USB Battery Bracelet

usb-wrist-band-batteryChunky jewelry is still in, right? You’d better hope so if you want to take advantage of this gadget. The USB Wrist Band Battery from Brando lets you charge your mobile electronics on the the run, literally.

Should you be on the bus and find yourself running on fumes on your PSP, just strap this rechargeable lithium ion battery pack to your wrist, string the USB cord from one gadget to the next and you’re charging. The Wrist Band Battery comes with nine various connectors to ensure you’ve got the link you likely need (mini USB, Nintendo, Sony, LG, Samsung, Nokia). And, if you know someone (wink, wink) who is always running around town with pockets full of mobile gadgets, this might make a good stocking stuffer for $35.

It kinda has a old-school sci-fi look if you ask me–like a miniature of Chewbacca’s bandoleer or a bit of classic cyborg–which is cool since you know how much chicks dig Chewie. The only problem with a gadget like this is that it stops us from using that cell phone favourite ditch: “oh, yeah, I’d love to talk more but I’m just about to run out of batteries.”

      Worst invention ever.

Who wants to wear a big gawdy thing like that all day?

Not ALL day… Just when you need to charge… and want to look “cool” with a big gaudy bracelet.

Are you saying the chunky look isn’t in anymore? Too bad. I suspect the bracelet might fit just nicely on the guy who still has a utility belt full of devices.
