PS3 Firmware Update Patches PSJailbreak

Sony has just pushed out the latest firmware update for the Playstation 3, intended to fix some security issues. In particular we’re talking about the PSJailbreak. Although no specific mention of the device is made Sony’s Playstation blog states firmware 3.42 fixes a “hardware security issue”.

If you ordered a PSJailbreak you may want to hold off on the update until you see if there is a fix.
