PS3 Modchip Makes Bold Claims

Is this really the world’s first modchip for the Playstation 3? It’s a bold claim but the internet is certainly buzzing this morning over the PSJailbreak.

The USB key allegedly dumps games from disc right to your Playstation 3 hard drive. You can not only play the game pay the game without the original disc, it will play up to 2X faster since your PS3 doesn’t have to read information off the disc. The plug and play key supposedly works on all PS3 models.

The PSX-Scene team claims to have tested the PSJailbreak and says it does indeed work. Take a look at the video and judge for yourself.

There are plenty of doubters out there thinking this is a scam. What do you think?
