Record HDTV To SD Memory Cards

Who needs a TiVo when you have a memory card! Cello Electronics over in the UK is getting ready to release a HDTV that will allow you to record your favorite high definition shows onto an SD memory card! No Joke.

The sets will feature twin TV tuners, a built-in EPG, split-screen functionality and an integrated DVD player. Three sizes will be available at launch, including 22″, 26″ and 32″.

Unfortunately the set will only record OTA (free over the air) HD signals and will not support HDMI. Boo. Oh, and they aren’t scheduled to be released in North America. Who knows, maybe someday.
