It hasn’t exactly been the best kept secret in the world. Samsung is about to release a new tablet computer and now the company has released all the specs during a press conference at the IFA consumer electronics fair in Berlin.

The Galaxy Tab will have a 7 inch TFT-LCD display with 1024×600 pixel resolution. On the inside it will be sporting a Cortex A8 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal memory. On the outside we have a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash, plus an additional front 1.3 megapixel camera for video chats. The Galaxy Tab will also support WiFi as well as 3G connectivity.

The device will be running Android 2.2 and will run Flash. Not only that, it will also support a wide variety of multimedia formats, including DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.263, and H.264.

Samsung Galaxy Tab will hit North America later this year. Excited?
