The Conduit transports to stores June 23rd

When we heard that The Conduit, one of the most promising upcoming FSP titles in the Wii’s release schedule was being pushed ‘from spring to summer 2009’ we held our collective breaths and waited for the other shoe to drop.

Turns out that ‘Summer’ means June 23rd, two days after summer begins. Ahhhhh. You can breathe again Wii owners.

That the extra time needed to polish the game was actually used to maximize the potential of Nintendo’s online architecture, as The Conduit makes use of the Wii Speak peripheral. Finally! A third-party developer creating a game that really is putting the Wii to the test. Continue to rejoice, shooter fans.
