tunebug_cesPortable speakers for MP3 players are difficult to find. They either use your player’s battery or they need to be plugged in, making it hard to make them, well, portable. Tunebug is debuting two new products that make it easier to share you music.

Both products have rechargeable batteries that offer 5 hours of playtime.

The Vibe is a speaker for your MP3 player that turns any surface into a speaker. At CES the Vibe was placed on a box that offered decent volume although given the noise level of the room it was hard to judge if it was good quality sound. You can even place the Vibe against your head for a cool party trick.

The Vibe is available in the United States for $69.99

Tunebug’s other product, Shake, is a speaker you can mount on your bike, skate, or skiing helmet. It’s a safer alternative to headphones since you can still hear background noise. It can connect wirelessly to your iPhone with Bluetooth or with a 3 feet cord which frankly is not as cool. Again it was hard to judge the sound quality in a noisy room but the Shake provided surround sound.

Shake attaches to your helmet trough a gecko mount or a strap, both which are included withs the product. This product will be available February 1.
