TV In The Belly Of The Beast

Amongst the sea of black and silver gadgets at CES Unveiled, there were some cute and furry TVs.

Hanspree is offering TVs embedded in animal bellies. You can select from a giraffe, zebra, bear, or camel. I have to say these TVs are a much better alternative to Transformers or Hannah Montana branded televisions. The cuddly exterior houses a 20″ screen with a 720p resolution. Expect to pay $299 MSRP for this.

If an animal isn’t your taste, Hanspree is also offering an apple TV. Not the boxtop set from Apple but a TV in a bright red plastic enclosure. The apple TV is 28″ and has a suggested retail price of $399. Besides the bigger size, this TV has a 1080p resolution.

Besides the incredible cute factor, the Hannspree sets have some decent stats like 10 000 to 1 contrast radio and 2 HDMI ports.]
