Twitter to offer paid-for Pro accounts

How does Twitter make money? It’s been a big mystery. The popular service site has recently added tiny text ads (have you noticed them?) but surely those don’t make that much money! Well now we know the company’s plans to bring in some real cash…offer a paid for “Pro” account.

No one knows what Pro accounts will offer. At this time all we know is your fee will get you more features. Twitter co-founder Biz Stone  has confirmed the company has hired someone to develop the accounts.

Don’t want to pay to use Twitter? Don’t panic. The company remains adamant free accounts will still be available!
