• UK To Outlaw Public Wi-Fi?

A new bill in the works in the UK would put an end to open public Wi-Fi networks. In fact it would make them downright illegal.  The Digital Economy Bill is intended to limit copyright infringement but it essentially will force small businesses and schools to take responsibility over their Wi-Fi hot spots, password protecting them, even keep records of users.

Right now it appears coffee shops will not be affected as their bandwidth is too small to promote file-sharing.
