After a decade of being out of the gaming industry, Virgin looks as though it might be ready to jump back in. Sir  Richard Branson himself is expected to make an appearance at this year’s E3 to announce the rebirth of Virgin Gaming.

So how is Virgin going to resurface? That’s the big question. Rumours are swirling it may begin releasing games for traditional consoles, but some believe it may give the console market a shot on its own by releasing a new console, maybe even a download based console.

You may remember Virgin Games is responsible for such titles as The Lion King, Cannon Fodder and Command and Conquer. But back in 1999 all the companies assets were purchased by EA and Titus.

Guess we’ll have to wait to see what Mr Branson has up his sleeve. Only a couple of weeks to go!
