Warm Up In A Super Mario Bros. Sweater

It’s almost fall–at least in the northern hemisphere–and what better time than now to wear a Super Mario Bros. sweater?

If the original pixel figures don’t get you, how about the fact that Shigesato Itoi designed it. Who is Mr. Itoi, you may ask?

Itoi has major geek cred. He

• coined the name GameBoy for Nintendo’s handheld
• created the Mother series, known as EarthBound in the US, for Nintendo
• voiced characters in the Japanese version of My Neighbor Totoro

Sadly, this marvellously nerdy sweater will set you back $435 USD. I guess my sweater is in another castle.
