Water Powered Flashlight

Imagine, a lamp powered by nothing but water. It exists! Of course only in Japan!

The NoPoPo Mini Lantern uses the proprietary NoPoPo hydro-electric battery from Aqua Power Japan. Use the included syringe to fill the battery full of water and away you go. The charge will last up to ten years! The battery can be charged up to 4 times before it dies. Hmmmm, overall battery life of 40 years, not bad at all.

The flashlight also converts into a lantern when you slide the plastic body up.

No water in sight? Don’t worry. You can also charge the battery with beer, sake, cola, or even urine.
