When is a 1GB USB stick worth $102

Apparently when it’s modelled after a cookie. Hacoa Wood Products Design Co. has released a wooden USB key carved from a sleek, silky wood called Monaca. The design itself is inspired from a Japanese cookie of the same name.

Apparently Japan has quite a history when it comes to wood craftsmanship. Who knew! Maybe that’s why the company is charging $102 for a meek little 1GB thumb drive. At least it’s pretty.
