Zune HD Becomes Official

 

It was the worst kept secret ever! After weeks of rumors floating around the web, Microsoft has come clean and admitted it will release the Zune HD this fall.

Microsoft is calling the device “Portable Perfection”. In all honesty we admit the device has some really cool features. First of all the Zune team has done away with the “squared circle” and is implementing an OLED touchscreen. The device will have a built-in HD Radio receiver as well as an HD video out (720p). The Zune will remain wireless and will also have the ability to surf the web.

So now the big question…when does it come out? Unfortunately we will have to wait until fall to get our hands on the latest version. Hopefully we will hear more juicy tidbits about Zune HD and its supposed Xbox Live compatibility at next weeks E3.
