Zune HD Selling out!

It appears as though Microsoft’s wet dream is about to become a reality! The Zune HD is selling out everywhere.

A quick look at online retailers show most stores have it listed as sold out or on back order. Amazon shows a 1 – 2 month wait for the 16GB model and a 1 – 3 week wait for the 32GB version. Best Buy shows it as backordered, while New Egg shows it as sold out. Microsoft’s own online store still has stock.

Is Microsoft pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes by holding back stock, or is this the real deal? Has Microsoft really hit the big time with the Zune HD? Time will tell.

Update: Amazon now shows the 16GB Zune HD as “in stock”
